Arrange for Health Coverage
Each province and territory in Canada has its own public health insurance program. While you may apply for health coverage on the day you make residence in your destined province or territory, there may be a waiting period of up to 3 months before the coverage is activated. For this reason you should research the health insurance program of your destined province and or territory and purchase private health insurance to make sure you are covered during the waiting period.
