Career Paths for Skilled Immigrants Information Session

The Career Paths for Skilled Immigrants Program, offered by Douglas College, assists internationally trained professionals navigate the regulatory requirements for their professions.
Service providers who deliver employment and/or settlement services to new immigrants are invited to attend an information session to learn more about our program eligibility and service delivery model.

Professionals from these occupations who live in any BC community:
Health: Nurses, Health Care Aides, Physicians, Sonographers
Education and Social Services: University professors, College and Vocational Instructors, Social & Community Service Workers, Early Childhood Educators
Professionals from other industries and occupations who reside in:
Coquitlam, Port Coquitlam, Port Moody, Maple Ridge, and Pitt Meadows
PROGRAM ELIGIBILITY
The Career Paths program eligibility criteria include:
Permanent resident of Canada for less than 5 years, and not be a Canadian citizen
High intermediate to advanced level of English
At least 1 year of experience in your field (up to age 31) or 3 years of experience (31 years+)
Not receiving income assistance, and cannot have received employment insurance in the past 5 years (exception: CERB)
