Attending Pre-Departure Orientations
Immigrants abroad can attend free pre-departure orientation services to prepare themselves for life in Canada. Pre-departure services are offered in different locations and have distinct service delivery models, ranging from general information to integrated support system that includes needs assessments and referrals.

As of 2017, around the world there are 71.44 million persons of concern according to the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) statistics. 19.94 million of persons of concern are categorized as Refugees. Most of these refugees are in Asian and Africa.
